Hello there! I am Blondie and I am a very busy newlywed!
I am 26 years old and currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nearly 9 years ago, I got terribly ill and went from 120 to 160 pounds in less than 6 months due to the medications I was taking. I am doing well now but still suffering the effects of all that weight gain. Since stopping the medications, I have bounced between 140 and 160 pounds, never able to maintain a healthy weight.
I carry all of my excess weight in my mid-section, which I know is dangerous and I also have an abnormally high heart rate. I attribute this to my lack of exercise. My diet also needs some improvement, as I am in love with carbohydrates and enjoy dining out.
I used to be thin, but I have never been in shape. With this project, I would like to return to a healthy weight by establishing better eating habits and get a toned body by learning to enjoy exercise. Most importantly, I want to be a healthier young woman!
My weight loss goal is approximately 25 pounds. I weigh myself every Tuesday and I currently weigh in at 157 pounds. I am 5’7” tall with a medium build.
I know this project with be motivating to those of us that are participating and I hope that our readers will be inspired to make steps of change in their lives’ as well. Please check back for my frequent updates!
